You can never lose by playing in the Quebec Poker Tournament League (LTPQ).
All the LTPQ tournaments are free. The only condition if you want to play in the tournaments organized in any of the LTPQ’s registered venues is to be 18 years old and have a league membership card. You can obtain a free membership card by registering online at www.ltpq.com
Optional Gestion Poker Tour’s scoring system will compile the registered members’ (players) points monthly and all the statistics will be available on the League’s website. Every month, the statistics will be reset and will restart at zero on the first of every month. However, a cumulative score, by stage and by season will always be available.
Quebec is divided in 125 districts. Each registered venue will be part of one district and will have to hold a minimum of one daily tournament per week.
10% of the winners of each daily tournament will get a free pass to participate in the monthly tournament which will be held in each venue during the first week of the month. These persons must be registered member’s of the optional GPT’s scoring system.
A free pass will be given out randomly after the first break of every weekly tournament between all members. Only members who are present on the premises will be able to win this chance of participating to the next monthly tournament.
During the monthly tournament, a number of players, determined by a rule of participation (see below), will receive a free pass for the district tournament, held during the second week of the following month, in one of the district’s registered venue.
At the end of each month, the 3 best point scorers of each registered venue will also get a free pass to participate in the district tournament, held during the second week of the following month, in one of their district’s venue.
Will represent their venue in their district tournament:
The 3 best point scorers and the winners of the monthly tournament (number of players determined by the scale above) for each registered venue.
10% of the winners of each district tournament will receive a free pass for the next stage tournament.
The month following each stage, the champions from each district tournament will be invited to this stage tournament.

The stage tournament will be of Freeze-Out style. The winners will receive a prize as well as a free pass for the Quebec Poker Championship.
The Quebec Poker Championship will be held at the end of the season, during a grand finale which will bring together the winners of each of the 4 stages.

So that all the points won at each tournament are tallied and that the number of tournaments played be counted, the interested players will have to register, at a cost of $10.00 per year, to the optional GPT scoring system. The points and tournaments played will be tallied starting on the member’s registration date and will not be retroactive.
The role of the CPBBTQ is to ensure the control of each registered venue. The part of the AJTPQ will be, in addition to making sure that its members are satisfied, to make sure that during major events, the international rules are followed, this, in collaboration with Gestion Poker Tour.
At the start of every tournament, the players will be solicited for a voluntary contribution of $2.00 maximum, which will help pay for the administration of the tournament and league.
Of course, a player who doesn’t wish to register to the optional GPT scoring system and who doesn’t participate in the voluntary contribution will still be accepted at each registered venue’s tournaments and will still be eligible to win the daily prizes but will not be eligible to win the free passes to monthly tournaments except via the daily draw.
However, a player who doesn’t wish to register to the optional GPT scoring system, his points and tournaments played will not be tallied.
