Scoring System
GPT’s scoring system will award a certain number of points to all players for a tournament.
GPT’s scoring system takes into consideration:
- The number of players registered for the tournament.
- The player’s position of elimination.
- The fictitious entry fee of 100 points per player.
- The fictitious prize money, in points distributed amongst approximately 20% of players.
At each daily tournament, 20% or registered players (except for tournaments of 8 and 9 players) will make up the lead group and the first player eliminated from this group will arbitrarily be attributed 250 points, the next one, 400 points, next after that, 500 points, then 600 points, 700 points, and so on. (100 points gap per position).
The rest of the players will merit themselves 10 points per position, spread equally for a maximum of 100 points.

Note: So that the points won at each tournament and the number of tournaments played during the season is tallied, interested members will have to register to GPT’s scoring system.
An annual cost of $10.00 via the website (available soon) or $15.00 on the associated venue’s premises.
The points and tournaments played will be tallied starting on the member’s registration date and will not be retroactive. Each season of the LTPQ ends on September 30th, renewal date to the GPT’s scoring system.
Of course, a player who does not wish to register to GPT’s scoring system will still be accepted in all associated venues’ tournaments and will be eligible to win the daily prizes but will not be eligible to win the free passes to monthly tournaments except via the daily draw.
